“In May 2022, compared to April, the consumer price index amounted to 101.4% in Kazakhstan, 100.7% in Belarus, 100.3% in Kyrgyzstan, 100.1% each in Armenia and Russia,” said the report.
The annual inflation rate in the EAEU states in May 2022 was 17.1% in Russia, 17% in Belarus, 14% in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, and 9% in Armenia.
The information notes that food and non-alcoholic beverages have risen in price most of all in Russia- by 22%, alcohol and tobacco - in Belarus by 17%, housing and communal services tariffs - in Belarus, by 14%.
