Kazakhstan to join agreement of "dry ports" until the end of the year

Astana. November 4. KazTAG - Kazakhstan plans to join the intergovernmental agreement "on dry ports" of UN ESCAP member states until the end of the year, reports the Ministry on Investments and Development.
"Kazakhstan plans to join the intergovernmental agreement on "dry ports" of UN ESCAP member states. It will increase the volumes of international freight transportation, reduce delays and costs on border crossing. The decision on creation of the agreement on "dry ports" was approved at the 69th session of UN ESCAP member states," reads the message.
According to the document, the sides will create institutional, administrative, legal-normative mechanisms for uninterrupted work of the "dry ports".
"The draft document is under coordination process with the authorized state bodies. The agreement is planned to be signed until the end of the year," reads the message.
