Kazakhstan to send two more planes to China for people evacuation on February 10-12

Astana. February 10. KazTAG - Kazakhstan will send two more planes to China for people evacuation on February 10-12, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"In compliance with the order of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to take measures for protection of the citizens of Kazakhstan from infection with coronavirus, the Government of Kazakhstan will evacuate people from China wishing to come back to the motherland. Under agreement with the Chinese authorities two planes of Air Astana will fly to Beijing to evacuate the citizens of  Kazakhstan," reads the statement.
Passengers will be accompanied by medical workers during the flight.
"By the request of the Chinese authorities these flights will return 47 citizens of China to Beijing from Kazakhstan and some noncommercial cargoes of the embassy of China in Kazakhstan," said the statement.
719 citizens of Kazakhstan are staying in China, 391 of them applied with a request to return to the motherland. Others- employees and family members of diplomatic departments, students and individuals said they wish to stay in China.
