Kazakhstan will send humanitarian aid and rescuers to Afghanistan

Astana. October 9. KazTAG – Kazakhstan will send humanitarian aid and rescue workers to Afghanistan, t reports the government press service.
“In accordance with the instructions of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Republic of Kazakhstan will provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan,” reads the report.
Kazakhstan will provide support to Afghanistan in order to eliminate the consequences of the devastating earthquakes that hit the Herat province on October 7.
Humanitarian aid includes food, tents, medicine, clothing and other essential items. The goods will be sent by air and rail in the near future.
