Astana. May 22. KazTAG - Kazakhstan will send tents, drinking water and medicines to Serbia, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Due to the official request of Serbiafor aid in connection with flood in this state, Kazakhstan will render urgent humanitarian aid including tents, drinking water, clothes and medicines for people of Serbia," reads the message.
Serbia had applied to the Government of Kazakhstan requesting humanitarian aid in connection with floods.
The flood was caused by rains since May 14. Dozens of people have died in the disaster. More than 25 000 people in Serbia, Bosnia, Herzegovina and Croatia have been evacuated, thousands of houses have bee destructed, and the flood severely damaged the agriculture.
