Kazakhstani air carriers usuriously approached safety audit- IATA
Almaty. November 28. KazTAG - Kazakhstani air carriers usuriously approached safety audit in air companies, said Jordan Karamalakov, regional manager of international air transport association (IATA) in Central Asia.
"I'd like to indicate that Air Astana company underwent IOSA safety audit 4 times and received flight permit to Europe. We are concerned about the fact that other air companies registered as regular passenger transportations did not approach the audit requirements seriously, and it calls certain questions. We believe that civil aviation committee of Kazakhstan must seriously consider this issue and take measures for the companies to pass the IOSA audit," he said.
"Aktau airport and Scat air company are passing the audit now. Other civil aviation subjects did not pass the audit this year, they even did not report the date of audit passing next year," he said.
