Kazakhstani boxer won in 37 seconds and becomes Asian boxing champion

Astana. May 23. KazTAG – Kazakhstani Aruzhan Zhanabaeva won the final of the Asian Boxing Championship in Sri Lanka, knocking out her opponent in 37 seconds, becoming the Asian champion, the press service of the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Telecommunications of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

Thus, Aruzhan became one of nine Kazakhstani women who won gold at this tournament. The following also won: Elina Bazarova (54 kg), Victoria Baidukova (57 kg), Anar Tursynbek (60 kg), Uldana Taubay (66 kg), Bakyt Seidish (70 kg), Shugyla Nalibay (75 kg), Zhibek Zharaskyzy (81 kg) and Asel Toktasyn (super heavyweight).

Tomiris Myrzakul (52 kg) won silver.
