Kazakhstani-Chinese relations entered new historical period
Astana. September 12. KazTAG - Kazakhstani-Chinese relations have entered a new historical period, said Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
"Yesterday you and Chairman Xi Jingping had trustworthy and fruitful negotiations. You shared opinions on a wide spectrum of issues. A joint statement was signed where both leaders said they would develop strategic partnership. Thus, we can declare that your visit to China has been successful, while Kazakhstani-Chinese relations have stepped into a new historical period," said Li Zhanshu after the meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Beijing.
Tokayev, in turn, congratulated Li Zhanshu on the 70th anniversary of CNP and informed him of the agreements reached during his state visit to China.
"Yesterday's negotiations were successful. China is a great of Kazakhstan. Taking into account our comprehensive cooperation, we signed a joint statement with Xi Jinping, which will focus on the strategic and long-term cooperation. I am satisfied with the results of the visit," said Tokayev.
