Kazakhstani citizen accused of murder extradited from Spain
Astana. April 14. KazTAG - Kazakhstani native accused of willful murder has been extradited from Spain, reports the General Prosecutor's Office.
"Keles Mambetov accused of willful murder in 2004 and put on the Interpol's wanted list has been extradited from Spain by the staffers of the General Prosecutor's Office and the National Interpol Bureau of MIA. Currently Mambetov is in the detention facility of Astana," reports the General Prosecutor's Office.
In 2009 the Interpol of Spain reported to the authorized bodies of Kazakhstan that Mambetov was hiding in the territory of Spain using forged documents. In 2007 he committed a crime and was sentenced 7 years imprisonment.
