Kazakhstani frontier guards discovered over 850 kg of sturgeons in poachers' nets in Caspian Sea
Almaty. May 6. KazTAG - Kazakhstani frontier guards have discovered the nets with 870 kg of sturgeons, reports the NSC press-service.
"The ships of Oral, Zhenis, Semser, Almaty and Kazhymukan discovered the nets 12500 m in length, 6250 hooks and released 695 kg of sturgeons on Saturday. On the next day the frontier guards discovered 12500 m of nets, 7500 hooks and 175 kg of sturgeons," reads the message.
Damage prevented to 616.675 mln tenge.
