Kazakhstani gymnast Andrey Lungul disqualified for 2 years for violation of anti-doping rules
Almaty. June 14. KazTAG - Kazakhstani gymnast Andrey Lungul has been disqualified for two years for violation of anti-doping rules, reports the National anti-doping center of Kazakhstan.
According to the report, Lungul showed positive probe on furosemide. The doping-control was conducted in the non-competitions period.
According to the message, the athlete has been disqualified since June 12 2019 until June 12 2021.
Andrey Lungul is a representative of the Kostanay region. In June 2018 he won two gold and two bronze medals at the championship of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
