Astana. July 10. KazTAG - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no objection to trips of Kazakhstani citizens to Crimea or Abkhazia, said Rapil Zhoshybayev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
"There is a variety of purposes: people go, maybe to mates, friends, relatives. We can not forbid going to any countries. With regard to the information that was in the media concerning the Schengen area: there were allegations of our diplomatic missions, it is public information. In this we see no political motive ", said R. Zhoshybayev, responding to a question of the agency at the briefing on Thursday.
"As for the hotspots: MFA responds instantly, if we feel that in any country there is a danger for our citizens," he added.
According to him, in such cases, the Foreign Ministry is trying to give information to the media, "to warn our citizens that it is undesirable to visit the country."
Meanwhile, the embassy of Germany in Kazakhstan on July 8 declared that Kazakh citizens travels to Crimea will not affect the issuance of Schengen visas.
