Kazakhstani Paralympics athletes preparing for games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016
Astana. July 2. KazTAG - Kazakhstani Paralympic athletes have all the chances to get to the games in Rio-de-Janeiro in 2016, said Galina Vanina, president of national Paralympics committee.
"Performing at the Asian games-2014 (Asian Paralympics games-KazTAG) we can rely upon the licenses in Rio de Janeiro (XV Paralympics games 2016 in Brazil-KazTAG). The Asian games are not just performance of our athletes, it is winning of licenses," she said.
Darkhan Kaletayev, president of national Paralympics committee declared "talking about the Asian Games there is a plan for 60-65 licenses".
"We have won 51 for today. We have three months ahead. There is a chance to get at least 10-15 licenses. The main types of sports are track and field athletics and swimming," he said.
