Kazakhstani Parliament ratified agreement with Macedonia eliminating double taxation

Astana. February 26. KazTAG - Senate deputies have approved the draft law "On agreement ratification between Kazakhstan and Macedonia against double taxation and prevention of deviations in terms of income tax”.
The document has been sent to the President for signing.
"The agreement is supposed to strengthen and expand economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Macedonia creating favorable conditions for mutual investments. The agreement stipulates elimination of double taxation for the residents of both states, prevents tax deviations and boosts commodity circulation increase and investments between the states," said Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Finance, presenting the draft law.
He reminded the commodity circulation between Kazakhstan and Macedonia made up $1.774 mln in 2013 through import. The main imported goods are tobacco, printing industry and clothes.
