Kazakhstani people will realize that garbage separation is essential - Kapparov
Astana. June 4. KazTAG - Kazakhstani people will come to garbage separation themselves, said Nurlan Kapparov, Minister of Environment and Water Resources.
"We won't force anyone (to separate garbage-KazTAG). We hope people will come to it themselves. It is necessary to make them understand that it is correct. We must install two bins: one for food wastes, another one for other garbage," he said.
He admitted he does not practice garbage separation now.
"No, because I have no possibility to send it anywhere further even if I do it. What's the sense of separating it at home if I have no bin for that," he added.
He said in a couple of years there will be garbage separation in Astana reminding that Europe spent 30 years for that.
