Kazakhstani President and German Foreign Minister discussed strengthening of bilateral cooperation
Astana. November 10. KazTAG - Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a meeting with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Akorda reports.
"The parties discussed further strengthening of bilateral trade-economic, investment, and fuel energy cooperation. They also discussed hot aspects of regional and international agenda," reads the message.
The President of Kazakhstan indicated progressiveness of negotiations with Chancellor Angela Merkel held last year in Milan.
"Once again we have synchronized the watches in terms of our interaction, marked high level of cooperation, and also good development dynamics. We consider your state as a main partner of Kazakhstan in Europe and ready to keep on working on the existing directions," he said.
Steinmeier expressed gratefulness for the meeting indicating "the situation in the world has become complicated, but at the same time there are some good moments we shouldn't forget about, yesterday Germany celebrated the 25th anniversary of fall of Berlin wall".
