Kazakhstani President and speaker of state Duma of Russia discussed strengthening of interparliamentary cooperation
Astana. November 25. KazTAG - Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a meeting with Sergey Naryshkin, chairman of state Duma of Russia, Akorda reports.
"During the meeting the parties discussed the main ways of strengthening of interparliamentary cooperation. Kazakhstani President indicated dynamic development of relations between Kazakhstan and Russia," reads the message.
According to Nazarbayev there has been reduction of cost of imported and exported goods between two states.
“There have been some difficulties in terms of trade as there has been reduction of cost of imported and exported goods of our states. However, the physical volumes have been growing anyway, integration processes have been strengthening, and joint ventures are being created. All these means gradual development of interaction of our states," he said.
Naryshkin reported he had arrived to Astana to take part in the conference "President. Parliament. Integration".
"That is our future. We remember and value that the idea of the Eurasian economic integration belongs to you, when in 1994 you indicated this geopolitical way of CIS states during the lecture at Moscow State University," said Naryshkin.
