Kazakhstani representatives satisfied with result of work on draft agreement on EEU
Astana. May 29. KazTAG - Representatives of Kazakhstan are satisfied with results of work on the project on Eurasian Economic Union, said Rakhim Oshakbayev, deputy chairman of board of national business chamber.
"The negotiations were complicated. Thus we are satisfied with results of work on the draft agreement," he said.
He added the draft agreement consists of 4 parts whose volume makes 969 pages.
"Unfortunately as the commission is located in Moscow we see certain misbalance that Russian citizens mainly take the positions of departments' directors," he said.
"To correct it the text of the agreement stipulates their equal representation on the level of directors of the department and their deputies, i.e. if a department's director is a citizen of Kazakhstan his deputy must be a citizen of Russia or Belarus. It will require financing expansion," he said.
Zhanargul Kusmangaliyeva, director of instituteof Eurasianintegration, added that about 40 states declared about intention to join the free trade zone with the Customs Union including Turkey, India, New Zealand, Vietnamand others.
