Kazakhstani satellite KazSat-3 launched from Baikonur

Baikonur. April 28. KazTAG - "Proton-M" rocket with KazSat-2 communications satellite has been launched from the ground N81 of "Baikonur" spaceport.

"Proton-M" rocket with Kazakhstani communications satellite KazSat-3 and a Russian space vehicle "Luch-5B" has been launched from Baikonur at 10.25 of Astana time.

As reported, two previous Kazakhstani satellites KazSat-1 and KazSat-2 were also launched with "Proton-M” from Baikonur in 2006 and 2011.

"KazSat-3" was made by the Informational Satellite Systems after Reshetnev by the order of the Republican center of satellite communication of radio compatibility in order to provide the services of mobile communication, satellite broadcasting and broadband Internet for Kazakhstan and bordering states.

The warranty period of the satellite operation is more than 15 years.
