Astana. April 10. KazTAG - Zhabal Yergaliyev, Senator, claimed to suspend the license of SCAT air company for the time of checks.
"In the time of checks it will be necessary to stop SCAT flights and temporarily withdraw the license. People's life is the most precious thing, we must not forget about that," he said reading his request to the Prime Minister.
He reminded the air company had an air crash killing 27 people in January 2013. In his words, "the latest events prove that it is not safe to fly by SCAT airplanes".
"Two latest incidents prove that -which happened on April 1 2014 with Boeing-757 en route Bangkok-Astana, and Boeing 737 en route Shymkent-Astana- both experienced problems with brakes system. The incidents that happened within 10 days call big concern," he said.
In his words, "it is time to think about prevention of such violations by SCAT company". In his opinion the company must be checked for security and technical condition. He emphasized the check is needed on the eve of the holidays season.
