Kazaviaspas helicopter departed to Kyrgyzstan to search missing climbers in Tian-Shan
Astana. August 20. KazTAG - A helicopter of Kazaviaspas company has departed to Kyrgyzstan to search Kazakhstani climbers in Tian-Shan, said Nursultan Nurakhmetov, official representative of the emergency situations committee of MIA.
"Mi-171 helicopter of Kazaviaspas company departed at 08.57 from the climbing camp Karkara, Almaty region, to Kyrgyzstan for the search-rescue operation. The military climbers are on board. They will arrive to Barkuduk camp. Further, they will climb on foot. A group of Kyrgyz climbers will join the search," reads the message.
As it was reported on August 19, the military men initiated a rescue operation in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan for the missing Kazakhstani climbers.
Climbers from Kyrgyzstan and Russia joined the operation.
