Kiev and Moscow should seek solution to problems; nobody can do it for them - Nazarbayev
Astana. December 29. KazTAG - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has called Russia and Ukraine to start negotiations.
"I am calling Ukraine and Russia not to rely on somebody to come and reconcile them. They must start negotiations and resolve the problems," said N. Nazarbayev at the press-conference.
He said he had conducted a phone talk with Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko and discussed the incident in the Azov Sea.
"I talked to Poroshenko on the phone. He said that small motor boats were floating and they were attacked, while Russia believes it is a pure provocation. We haven't been there, are we experts?" he said.
"I said: only you can negotiate and discuss what was there, to settle these questions. The problem will not be resolved without negotiations," he concluded.
