"Appoint Yerlan Koshanov as a head of the Presidential Office of Kazakhstan and relieve him of the post of akim of the Karaganda region," reads the decree.
Koshanov replaced Krymbek Kusherbayev at the post who has been appointed as a State's Secretary.
Yerlan Koshanov was appointed as an akim of the Karaganda region in March 2017, in June 2019 his authority was extended.
