The mentioned MoU with Village Councils in Priuralnoye, Zharsuat and Uspenovski rural districts of Burlin District located around the Karachaganak Field was first signed in 2005, and re-signed every 5 years following approval of community development programmes.
The MoU is aimed at implementation of programmes for socially vulnerable community members gaining broad support of local residents and authorities of Burlin District, WKO.
Z.Muzafarova, Community & Local Authorities Relations Manager noted that engagement of business, authorities and the public as part of the mentioned MoU fosters the long-term relations of the parties.
During the meeting Burlin District Akim Satkanov M.M. said: “All community development programmes are needed by local residents and relevant”. Mr.Satkanov thanked KPO for implementation of the programmes aimed at support of local community.
