KPO took part in liquid nitrogen plant opening ceremony

Aksai. June 12. KazTAG - The representatives of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) took part in the ceremonial launch of RT Alliance LLP liquid nitrogen plant in Aksai. The opening ceremony was also attended by the leadership of the Burlin District and the representatives of KPO Contractor companies.
RT Alliance LLP is a KPO contractor and this project is a part of regional industrialization map of WKO aimed at the development of the industrial potential of the region.
Welcoming the participants Talgat Kaziyev, Director RT Alliance LLP, said: “Our company was established in 2003 as a supplier of the specialized gases, such as liquid nitrogen and helium. For the past several years the capacity of our services have grown to facilitate the oil services sector, such as detection of helium leak, flange control, pipeline maintenance and chemical treatment. And thanks to the skills gained working with KPO we were able to enter the oilfield services market of Russia”.
In 2016, in view of further development of the potential of the company and to contribute to the economy of the region as a domestic producer, RT Alliance LLP has launched a project to build a modular air separation plant to produce the liquid nitrogen, targeting to cover the needs of major oil and gas fields in RoK. The launch of the plant serves as a present dedicated to the 40th Anniversary of discovery of Karachaganak field", - added Talgat Kaziyev.
As KPO Local Content Development Manager Bakytzhan Doskaziyev noted, “This plant is in line with KPO local content development initiatives aimed at establishment of cluster production of goods around Karachaganak field.
“The plant production capacity is about 4,500 tons/year. The RT Alliance LLP invested over 400 mln tenge into the project, creating new jobs. This plant thus capable of fully localizing liquid nitrogen production and facilitate the Karachaganak project needs. In addition the representatives of Kashagan and Tengiz have also shown interest in the project, as it can serve as a good example of synergy for all operators supporting the localization of such initiatives”, said Bakytzhan Doskaziyev.
Over the past three years KPO had facilitated the development of the production of 22 new goods in the amount of over 22 billion tenge and 29 types of works and services in the amount of 186 billion tenge on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which were previously provided by the foreign companies.
