Kyrgyzstan frontier guards shot dead citizen of Kazakhstan at border with Kazakhstan
Astana. January 24. KazTAG - A citizen of Kazakhstan has been shot dead by the frontier guards of Kyrgyzstan at the border with Kazakhstan, reports the national security committee of Kazakhstan.
"Frontier guards of Kyrgyzstan attempted to detain three trespassers on January 23 2019 who were attempting to punch 10 horses from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan. In the time of detention the trespassers resisted using cold arms. The frontier guards had to use weapons. As a result one trespasser got a ballistic wound. Two others escaped on the territory of Kazakhstan. The injured man died on the way to hospital in Talas village," reads the message.
Taraz border forces are seeking escaping trespassers and horses.
"The deceased man had a criminal record under art.392 (intentional illegal crossing of state border of Kazakhstan)," reads the message.
