Kyrgyzstan will acquire 1.4 bln kWh of electric power from Kazakhstan
Almaty. October 28. KazTAG - Kyrgyzstan will purchase 1.4 bln kWh of electric power from Kazakhstan, reports the KyrTAG news agency with a reference to Nurbek Elebayev, head of state department on regulation of fuel-energy complex under the Ministry of Energy and Industry.
"Kyrgyzstan is expected to acquire 1.4 bln kWh of electric power from Kazakhstan. Of them 400 mln kWh - bilateral clearing, 1 bln kWh- for money," he said.
Previously, Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Almazbek Atambayev and Nursultan Nazarbayev reached an agreement on delivery of electric power from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan.
