Large smuggled shipment of iPhone 15s discovered at Almaty airport

Almaty. September 29. KazTAG – A large smuggled shipment of iPhone 15 was discovered at Almaty airport, reports the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
“On September 22, during customs control of the Dubai-Almaty flight, a passenger attempted to smuggle 34 undeclared iPhone 15 mobile phones. The preliminary customs value is KZT25.3 million, the estimated amount of damage is KZT3.1 million,” the report said on Friday.
