Launch of eight chemical industry enterprises worth T12.9 billion is planned by the end of the year in Kazakhstan

Astana. August 15. KazTAG — By the end of 2024, Kazakhstan plans to commission eight chemical industry enterprises with a projected value of T12.9 billion, reports the Ministry of Industry and Construction (MPS) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"By the end of the year, the country will commission eight chemical industry enterprises with a projected value of T12.9 billion," reads the report, citing the QazIndustry Center for Economic Analysis and Conduct, published by the Ministry of Industry and Construction.
The projects planned for launch include the production of liquid nitrogen, sodium pyrosulfite, and chemical reagents; about 70% of the planned output will be directed to the country's domestic needs.
It is also noted that another 22 projects worth T790 billion are at the implementation stage: the production of green hydrogen, uranium oxide and uranium oxide, lithium carbonate, polyvinyl chloride, ammonium paratungstate, and others, 45% of which are planned to be exported. It is indicated that 62 projects worth T13.4 trillion are being developed for the production of polyethylene, potassium fertilizers, ammonium nitrate, sodium cyanide and others.
