Launch of Proton-M with foreign vehicles suspended until 2019
Almaty. June 19. KazTAG - Launch of Proton-M with Eutelsat 5 West B and the first vehicle for extension of service term of satellites MEV-1 on board has been suspended until early 2019, reports Izvestiya.
"Only one launch of Proton for commercial customers was planned in 2018. According to the current agreements between Russia and China, Proton rocket will be presumably in service until 2025”, reports the newspaper with a reference to a source in Baikonur.
Now one launch of Proton on the commercial market costs from $60 mln to $65 mln. The commercial portfolio of orders of Khrunichev center has 24 launches until 2025.
