Law postponement on safety seats will lead to new victims of traffic accidents - MIA
Astana. January 21. KazTAG - The postponement of law on safety seats installation in the cars will lead to new victims of traffic accidents, said Kanat Saduakasov, head of administrative police committee.
"We have calculated that from 7 to 10 children die every month in the traffic accidents and 140-150 are injured. That is the price of the question today... And we believe that the price of the postponement of this regulation by 12 months, will progressively increase the number of these innocent victims," he said.
The police administration said that now Kazakhstani drivers get the warning about the requirements of law on safety seats and no one has been fined.
As it was previously reported, Ak Zhol party proposed to postpone the requirement on children transportation aged below 12 in safety seats.
