Less than 3% of Kazakhstani companies were supported by the state during the 10 years of the BRM

Astana. May 24. KazTAG - Over the 10 years of the state program “Business Road Map”, less than 3% of companies were able to take advantage of state support, said Marat Bakkulov, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Manufacturing Industry.

According to him, this indicates that enterprises do not have a real opportunity to replenish working capital on preferential terms.

Within the framework of certain areas of the Business Road Map program, subsidies and guarantees are provided for loans, where the amount of working capital does not exceed 20% for “green” projects, 30% for priority types of economic activities in the amount of up to T500 million.

Under the “Economics of Simple Things” program, subsidies are aimed at reducing the cost of loans, the purpose of which is to replenish working capital by up to 50% in the manufacturing industry, Bakkulov noted.

According to him, expanding the financial capabilities of businesses is almost impossible due to limited access of enterprises to financial resources.
