Line of trucks queuing at Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan border

Almaty. July 11. KazTAG - A line of trucks is queuing at the state border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at Ak-Tilek checkpoint, reports KyrTAG.
"The Ministry of Transport and Motorways of Kyrgyzstan introduced restrictions for trucks. The trucks are queuing in the traffic jam for 2-3 days. About 40 trucks departing from Kazakhstan are staying at the territory of the checkpoint," reports the state border service of Kyrgyzstan.
The press-service of the Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan said that "thermal control" is imposed on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in summer time, in case the temperature rises above +28 trucks traffic is prohibited from 09.00 until 20.00.
"The ban was introduced to prevent asphalt damage by heavy trucks," said the Ministry.
