Low share of wages in Kazakhstan's GDP has been due to growth in number of working poor population

Astana. March 31. KazTAG - The low share of wages in Kazakhstan's GDP  is due to the growth in the number of working poor population.
“In the structure of GDP, there is a low share of wages of employees - 30.1% in January-September 2022 compared to other countries (39.8% in Russia; 53% in the USA; 47% in the EU). This is due to the presence of problems associated with disproportions in wages, hidden unemployment, and, as a result, the growth of the working poor population (Kazakhstan - 32.7%, Azerbaijan - 39.7%, Russia - 30.7%, Greece - 13, 4%),” reads the program to increase the income of the population until 2029.
