"The treaty on nuclear weapons ban has been approved. The treaty was performed in the UN headquarter in New York on July 7 2017. The regulations of the treaty comply with the principle position of Kazakhstan which passed the way from the holder of the world fourth biggest nuclear arsenal to the state-leader in the field of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation," reads the message.
According to the document, each State Party undertakes the obligation never to develop, test, produce, manufacture, acquire, possess, or accumulate nuclear weapons under no circumstances.
"The parties must prevent any installation or deployment of any nuclear weapons or other nuclear explosive devices on their territory or in any place under their jurisdiction or control,” the Majilis said.
