Majilis deputy claims information about pension deposits from Kelimbetov
Astana. April 16. KazTAG - Gulzhana Karagusova, Majilis deputy, claimed information about pension deposits of Kazakhstani people from National Bank’s head Kairat Kelimbetov.
"The reason for our deputy request is numerous applications from people concerning no data available about the operation of the uniform saving pension fund. The fund was created by the order of our President in order to manage our pension savings more effectively. The process of pension savings transfer to the UNPF finished on April 1 2014. Now all the pension accumulations of people are consolidated in it," she said.
In her words, the unification of pension assets was reasoned by improved administration, safety of savings "and the main thing- by growth of profitability level of pension savings of people".
"In addition the depositors were assured that we would not need to sign additional agreements on transfer from one fund to another and the money would be simply transferred from one account to another. After that every depositor was promised to receive information about his assets," she said.
In her words, earlier mass media reported that the UNPF depositors would get account statements. According to Karaguzova, with a reference to mass media, the majority of depositors haven't received any information about their accounts.
