Мajilismen claiming Government to establish "tough control" on state funds

Astana. April 9. KazTAG - Majilis deputy Aikyn Konyrov is insisting on "tough control" on the state funds allocated for different projects.

"We are insisting upon tough control on state funds," he said addressing to the Prime Minister at the plenary sitting on Wednesday.

In his words, the reason for this application is the number of problematic credits accumulated in the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. The total sum of problematic credits, according to the Majilisman, makes 212 bln tenge.

"In 2013 The Development Bank of Kazakhstan"  transferred almost all the problematic projects into the Investment Fund of Kazakhstan. Their transfer supposed rehabilitation and restructuring of industries," he said.

He added the transfer of the problematic credits "means their mechanic redistribution inside the Baiterek, but does not solve the problem".

"The problem of their appearance, connected with idle system of expertise and risks management has not been taken into account," he said.
