Mangistau akimat to allocate land area for construction of center for homeless animals
Almaty. July 18. KazTAG - The akimat of Manigustau region will allocate a land area for construction of a center for straying animals, reports InAktau.
"Galymzhan Niyazov, akim of Aktau, conducted a session with the represetatives of communal services on July 17, he said the akimat of Mangistau region agreed to allocate a land area for construction of an Ecological-education center for support of wild and homeless animals," said Kirill Osin, director of non governmental organization Eco Mangistau.
1.8 hectares will be allocated on the territory of former colony N172/1.
"The center will be constructed within the frameworks of public-private partnership. It is early to talk about sponsors now. We are glad that the akim is personally involved in settlement of this problem," he said.
