"Marat Kozhayev has been appointed as a first deputy minister of interior affairs of Kazakhstan," reports Akorda.
Prior to the appointment Kozhayev headed the police department of Astana since December 2017, since September 2014 until December 2017 he worked as a head of interior affairs department of the Pavlodar region. Since February 2012 until August 2014 he worked as a chairman of investigation committee of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
He replaced Zhanat Suleimenov at the post who transferred to a new work place.
