Memorandums planned to be signed at KADEX-2014 to be $2 bln worth

Astana. May 22. KazTAG - It is planned to conclude memorandums to $2 bln at KADEX-2014 Kazakhstani exhibition of armament, said Bolat Smagulov, chair of the national company "Kazakhstan Engineering".

"About 20 different memorandums to about $2 bln will be signed for 5-10 years," he said.

He added during the KADEX II and II in 2012-2014 the companies "have successfully implemented 14 projects to 22 bln tenge".

"Such projects as Eurocopter, Kazakhstan Aselsan. The armored plant of "Semey Engineering" was modernized," he said.

In his words about 950 work places have been created, exports to foreign states have doubled to 3.5 bln tenge.

KADEX-2014 will be held in Astana on May 22-25.
