Men acting in ISIL video are not residents of Kazakhstan - NSC
Astana. January 15. KazTAG - People acting in the video of the Islamic State of Iraq and Lebanon (ISIL) are not citizens of Kazakhstan, reports the National Security Committee.
"The bodies of the national security committee conducted investigation following the video post showing execution of two men who were allegedly the intelligence agents and natives of Kazakhstan. It has been revealed that these people were not the residents of Kazakhstan," reads the statement.
The NSC reminded about responsibility for spread of misleading information creating threat to public order and causing harm to the rights and interests of people or organizations, the article 275 prescribes up to 1000 MCI fine or correctional works up to 1 year, or imprisonment for the same term.
As some media reported, the ISIL spread a video on the Internet showing a boy from Kazakhstan shooting two "Russian spies", one of whom is the native of Kazakhstan.
