Migrant workers from Ukraine, Thailand and Turkey turned out to be the most numerous in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 20. KazTAG - Labor migrants from Ukraine, Thailand and Turkey turned out to be the most numerous in Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Kazakhstan.
"The main countries of origin of labor migrants are Ukraine - 3511 people, Thailand - 1723, Turkey - 1669, Uzbekistan - 1186, Serbia - 1065", reads the report.
According to the Ministry of Labor, as of October 1, 2020, there are 16 105 permits were issued in Kazakhstan to attract foreign labor force.
“641 permits were issued in the first category (managers and their deputies), 3449 - in the second category (heads of structural divisions). The main part of permits to attract labor force were issued for the third (specialists) and fourth (skilled workers) categories - 7461 people and 1125 people, respectively," reads the message.
