Militaries of Kazakhstan started operation for climbers rescue in mountains of Kyrgyzstan

Astana. August 19. KazTAG - The militaries of Kazakhstan have started an operation for rescue of the climbers in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, reports the Ministry of Defense.
"The militaries have started a rescue operation in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan searching for Kazakhstani climbers - Marat Otepbayev, Andrey Korneyev, Alexander Chechulin, who has presumably died of wet lungs," said the Ministry of Defense.
Captain Maksut Zhumayev, mayor Amanzhol Rakhmetov, head of the group - senior lieutenant Vasiliy Pivtsov are in the group of rescuers.
“The committee of emergency situations of Kyrgyzstan provided a helicopter which will fly to the camp located 4400 meters high and deliver the rescuers for the search operation," said the department.
The operation is complicated due to bad weather conditions, danger of avalanching; rescuers will use thermal imager to search for the climbers.
The missing climbers were walking to the highest point in Kyrgyzstan - the Victory peak located 7439 meters high.
