Ministry of Emergency Situations: The threat of flood has passed in the Akmola region

Astana.  April 22. KazTAG - The threat of flooding has passed in the Akmola region, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Thanks to well-coordinated teamwork, the flooding of 2 thousand residential buildings in 95 settlements was prevented, and damage to flood victims was minimized. To protect settlements in the region, earthen embankments 45 km long and about 300 thousand bags of inert material were prepared,” said the report.
