Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan called on India and Pakistan to exercise restraint to avoid further escalation

Astana. May 12. KazTAG – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan issued a statement in connection with the escalation of the situation between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The agency expressed deep concern about the situation and emphasized the importance of preventing further deterioration of the situation.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expresses deep concern in connection with the growing escalation of the situation between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. We call on all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint in order to avoid further escalation of the situation,” reads the statement.
The Foreign Ministry noted that Kazakhstan has consistently defended the need to resolve international and regional disagreements in accordance with international law and the principles of the UN Charter.
