KazTAG - Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov has instructed the Ministry of Health and akimats to conduct an audit of the bed fund due to the "Delta" ("Indian") strain of coronavirus infection (CVI) in Nur-Sultan by June 28, reports the commission for prevention of coronavirus spread.
“Tugzhanov instructed the central government agencies, akimats to take all measures to prevent the spread of the“ Delta ”strain, taking into account its high contagiousness,” reads the statement.
“The Ministry of Health, together with akimats, was instructed to audit the bed fund, staffing, and the adequacy of medicines in reserve funds by June 28. In conclusion, the Deputy Prime Minister noted the need to increase the coverage of vaccination of the population against CVI, ”said the statement.
