MINT proposed not to consider origin of funds invested into Kazakhstani tourism
Astana. June 6. KazTAG - The intelligence services and the Government will not consider the origin of the funds invested into Kazakhstani tourism branch, said Marat Igaliyev, chair of the committee of tourism industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
"We consider such things as tax preferences for investors, amnesty of capital. There is experience of Turkey: they announced that the intelligence services and the Government will not control the source of money invested into tourism sector. This way about $60 bln have been attracted into tourism development," he said during the round table dedicated to the Day of tourism support.
In his words, privileged financing will be provided to develop tourism.
"We want to develop a law on special tourism zones next year, which will take into account all these moments," he said.
He added according to the optimistic plan up to $1.5 bln additional state investments will be needed until 2020.
Investors for tourism zones in the south and east of Kazakhstan- Kok Zhailau and Kenderli- have been defined.
