“There are two ways out: first, these people must agree to go to work, or, second, we will be forced to get someone on the side. In Zhanaozen, you know, there are plenty of people who want to find employment. Today, more than 9 thousand people are on the waiting list. All these people need work,” Mirzagaliyev said on the sidelines of the Astana International Forum.
According to the chairman of KazMunayGas, the salary of oil workers in Zhanaozen is about KZT800,000 per month.
