More than 1.3 thousand complaints about non-provision of medical care submitted to Social Health Insurance Fund in time of pandemic in Kazakhstan

Astana. September 25. KazTAG - More than 1 300 complaints about the failure to provide the medical care were submitted in the peak of the pandemic to the Social Health Insurance Fund, said Bolat Tokezhanov, chairman of the board of the Social Health Insurance Fund.
“Such cases have been recorded. You know that in June-July we had numerous cases of coronavirus incidence in the country, during this period,  the 1406 contact center received numerous calls. We have received more than 1 300 complaints about denials of medical assistance. The social health insurance fund answered the questions and protected the rights of patients, as for compensation for paid medical services, this is not provided for by the legislation," he said.
