More than 1.6 mln people may remain outside medical insurance in Kazakhstan
Astana. October 22. KazTAG - More than 1 mln people may remain outside the medical insurance, said Serik Bekturganov, Senate deputy.
"Today almost 660 thousand people from the criteria of self-employed are outside medical insurance, their negative response to refusal in medical services which are not on in the volume of free medical aid is absolutely clear. The analysis has shown that almost one million salaried employees will be added to them due to non-coverage of the transfers in the fund within the frameworks of the compulsory social medical insurance," he said.
He added, medical community still cautiously approaches the introduction of medical insurance in Kazakhstan.
